The above clock was done with the Stampin’ Up! Zoo Babies stamp set and would be great for a baby nursery. (Supplies to do that clock are listed below.) I also needed a clock for my stamp room. I’ve shown you below how I did this. (The stamp set used on this clock is sold to demonstrators only.)
I started with a basic $3 clock from the local big box store.
This particular clock had six screws from the back that held a ring on the front of the clock that held the glass in place. I took those out and removed the ring, glass and the hands (they just pull off easily). Then I used the glass to draw a circle the size of the face of the clock, then cut it out. I started with scissors but then realized that I had a circle cutter that made the exact size I needed! Bonus!
I used an anywhere hole punch to punch the hole in the center of the face. Then I positioned the intersection of the dark lines on the Grid Paper in the center of that hole. This allowed me to use the dark lines as guides as to where to place the images for the 12, 3, 6 & 9. For the other numbers, I just estimated and used a small heart stamp. I added a little bit of Crystal Effects to the crown to give it a little sparkle.
Then all that was left to do was reassemble, add battery and hang on the wall. I am so happy with how this one came out! Don’t you love it!?! What stamp set will you use for your clock?
