Hi there Stampers! Happy Monday! I hope you enjoyed your weekend and had a great Father’s Day. It was an odd one for me. My dad passed away 14 years ago, my kids live in different states and were not here for my husband and my husband doesn’t speak to his father…. So, just odd. But, my hubby and I did enjoy some time out and about – just the two of us and the BEAUTIFUL outdoors here in Northern California! That’s always fun!
Today I am sharing with you a card I made a custom order for a friend. She wanted a special card for her niece who was turning 13. I came up with this “Card in a Box”:
I’ve done the card in a box before. I actually have a video tutorial on YouTube. (I’ll include the link below – but be warned – it was my first ever video and the volume is a little low.)
The card base is Melon Mambo and I used some retired birthday Stampin’ Up! designer series paper (DSP), I also used the DSP to make a custom envelope with the Stampin’ Up! envelope punch board. (since it’s a little bigger than the standard A2 envelope). I will also include the video on how to make an envelope – this one fits a 6×6 card. Her name and age on the front of the card were made with my eCutter.
Happy Stamping,
