Hi Stampers! I hope you have something safe planned for New Years Eve. I plan to be home in my pajamas stamping! Might add in some cuddling by the TV with the hubby. (Unfortunately, he has to work tomorrow.)
Anyway… Today I wanted to share with you a card I made for a customer. She wanted a special card for her husband’s birthday. She was thrilled with this Card-in-a-Box.
I just love these cards. The fold flat for mailing and then pop open and will stand on it’s own, displaying all the fun for everyone to see!
I used our retired Birthday Basics Designer Series Paper. I was so sad to see that one retire! But, the good news is that we have a new set of Designer Series Paper, called Birthday Bash, in the 2015 Occasions catalog that comes out in just a week!
Here are the dimensions. click here for these card in a box instructions as a PDF document.
and here is a video I made several months ago.
Happy Stamping & Happy New Year!
hi
saw your video on u tube. its a good video. I did leave a comment there in regards
to having the diagram be printable. we’re going to do this card in card club, it would be nice to be able to print off that diagram for everyone that day and for future use.
thanks for the nice video. it went smoothly and slow.. which is nice so one could follow along easily.
thank you!
I’m confused. The diagram IS printable. Right above it, it says “click her for the PDF”. Are you a demo?
That PDF is fantastic! So easy to follow and I love the video thanks for sharing 😀
Thank you! It makes me happy to know that it’s as easy to follow as I tried to make it.
I love this pdf and the video! I made it for my sister but in Pink, she loves it! but can i know what’s the thing you use to glue the decorative paper on the box? please? And thank you again for this tutorial!
Thank you for your kind words. I’m glad your sister liked the card you made for her. i used snail adhesive to adhere the DSP to the card stock. You could use our glue stick, fast fuse or tombow glue too. Any of them can be ordered on my site. http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ItemList.aspx?categoryID=1857&dbwsdemoid=2118858
