This weekend I was looking over Pinterest and thinking, “how can I come up with a fresh idea, they have all been used up!” Then, while looking over the gift bag ideas, I didn’t see an idea we used to use when I was a demonstrator back in the late 90s. A fan top gift bag!
You will need a plain lunch size paper bag, stamps, ink and adhesive.
Then you stamp all over the bag (front, back and sides). Starting at the top of the bag fold back and forth in a fan fold fashion. Then pinch in the middle of those folds and bring them together and adhere with adhesive. I used a twine flower and stamped a flower to use as a gift tag.
…. and there you have it, a handmade gift bag! Didn’t it come out cute?
Happy Stamping,
Lisa
