hi Stampers. I have a super fun project to share with you today! I had a friend who was surprising her kids with a trip to Disneyland. She loaded them in the car and told them they were going to visit friends and then a few hours from Disneyland they stopped for lunch and she gave them these cards I made for her.
This one was for her son, Mason – note his name at the top:
and this one was for her daughter, Taylor – again, note the name at the top. I LOVE to personalize things. Personalizing is just one more reason you need to have My Digital Studio – and it’s only $19.95 and comes preloaded with a TON of great stuff!
I made the larger version of the card in a box. (There is one that fits in an A2 envelope, but I like the bigger one and just make a custom envelope with the envelope punch board.)
Here is a link to my PDF instructions and I also have a YouTube video (caution, the sound is a little low and one measurement I mention wrong – but have pop up words with the correction. Be easy on me, it was my first EVER YouTube video.)
As I mentioned earlier, I typed out the sentiment on top in My Digital Studio and printed them on Whisper White card stock. Click here for a FREE TRIAL and click here for free training. Since Stampin’ Up! doesn’t have any Disney stamps, etc. (most likely due to copyright laws), I used stickers to decorate. Masons card was done with Basic Black and Real Red Stampin’ Up! card stock. For Taylors card I used Pink Pirouette, Melon Mambo and Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper card stocks. I also used the 2 3/8″ Scallop circle punch, 2″ circle punch, sweetheart punch and the heart from the itty bitty accents punch pack.
