Hi Stamper! Welcome to our Fun Fold Blog Hop. Each month a group of Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators share unique fun fold card ideas, and today I’m excited to show you a Fold Closed Step Pop Up Card featuring the Cute As Can Bee Designer Series Paper. This card truly is As Cute As Can Bee and is sure to brighten someone’s day.

My card begins with a Petunia Pop card base that gives this project a fresh, cheerful look. I layered it with the Cute As Can Bee Designer Series Paper, which I matted with Daffodil Delight cardstock to make the colors pop even more. This pairing of bright florals, soft pinks, and golden yellows really showcases the beauty of Stampin’ Up! paper crafting supplies, while the Meant to Bee Dies add the perfect focal point to the front of the card.

The magic happens inside the card, where the step pop-up mechanism folds completely flat for mailing but pops open when displayed. It’s such a fun interactive card design, and the Fold Closed Step Pop-Up technique is a great way to impress the recipient while still keeping the card practical for mailing.

For the inside sentiment, I used the Bee My Valentine Stamp Set, stamping in Petunia Pop ink on a crisp layer of Basic White cardstock. To tie the design together, I added the honeycomb image from the same set in Daffodil Delight ink in opposite corners, creating a subtle background. To finish it off, I fussy cut a partial jar of honey directly from the Cute As Can Bee DSP and adhered it in the lower right corner. The DSP design worked out perfectly—even with half the jar missing, it added the sweetest little detail!
