Attention, stampers! This is no April Fool’s joke—the Stamparatus from Stampin’ Up! is officially retiring. This incredible stamp positioning tool has been one of my all-time favorite crafting essentials, and I’m truly sad to see it go. If you don’t already own a Stamparatus, now is the time to grab one before they’re gone! It’s a game-changer for precision stamping, perfect for creating handmade cards, repeated patterns, and advanced techniques like the Stamparatus Hinge Stamping Technique, which I’m demonstrating today. Don’t miss out on this must-have tool before it disappears!

This handmade fall-themed card features a rich Cajun Craze card base, perfectly complemented by a warm layer of Very Vanilla cardstock. At the heart of the design is a beautifully textured die-cut pumpkin, crafted using the Hello Harvest Dies with Crumb Cake, Pumpkin Pie, and Old Olive cardstock. To add depth and dimension, the pumpkin is assembled in three textured layers, with the center piece popped up using Stampin’ Dimensionals for a stunning 3D effect.

In this close-up shot taken at an angle, you can see the intricate embossed design created during the die-cutting process. To enhance the texture and make the details stand out, I used a sponge dauber to apply coordinating ink over the embossed areas. This simple technique adds depth and dimension, bringing out the beautiful patterns in the cardstock. Whether you’re creating handmade cards, scrapbook layouts, or paper crafting projects, adding ink to embossed designs is an easy way to elevate your creations.

The bold “HELLO” sentiment from the Hello Harvest stamp set is beautifully stamped along the left side using the Stamparatus for perfect alignment. Starting with Early Espresso ink, the Stamparatus hinge-step technique was used to shift the plate down, stamping the next “HELLO” in Soft Suede ink, followed by Cajun Craze ink, Pumpkin Pie ink, and Crushed Curry ink for a warm, autumn-inspired gradient.
