Today, I’m sharing a Gatefold Peek-a-boo Valentine’s Day card—a unique and fun fold design perfect for celebrating love. Are you a fan of Valentine’s Day? I definitely am! Maybe it’s because I adore everything pink and heart-themed, or perhaps it’s because Valentine’s Day falls just a week after my birthday, making it feel like one big celebration. I couldn’t resist using the stunning Marbled Elegance Suite for this card. This suite is packed with beautiful hearts, soft pink tones, and a touch of gold for a truly elegant finish.
My Gatefold Peek-a-Boo Valentine’s Day card features a stunning Melon Mambo card base, beautifully accented with layers of Marbled Elegance Designer Series Paper. To create the peek-a-boo effect, I used the Hearts of Elegance Dies to cut a heart-shaped opening on the card front. For added dimension, I die-cut a heart from Bubble Bath cardstock using the same dies and stamped it with coordinating Bubble Bath ink for a soft, romantic touch.
Inside my handmade Valentine’s Day card, I added a layer of Bubble Bath cardstock, topped with a layer of Basic White. To create dimension and visual interest, I adhered the Bubble Bath heart to the center of the opening from the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
