Hi, Stamper! Halloween is just around the corner, and I have a Spooky Sweet Halloween Card to share with you today. This fun fold card is a creative way to showcase your favorite Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper. I used the Spooky Sweet Designer Series Paper, which includes two sheets of pre-cut images that make it easy to create adorable Halloween projects—even if you don’t have a Halloween-specific stamp set.
This handmade Halloween card starts with a Basic Black card base, layered with Pumpkin Pie cardstock for a classic Halloween color combination. The Spooky Sweet Designer Series Paper is cut into a long strip, scored and then cut at an angle to create a fun side accordion fold on the card front. This unique fold adds movement and dimension, making your card stand out.
For the focal point on the card front, I punched out a Granny Apple Green circle using one of Stampin’ Up!’s circle punches. I then added one of the pre-cut Halloween images from the Spooky Sweet Designer Series Paper using Stampin’ Dimensionals to give it a little extra pop. The angled accordion flap opens from the left, revealing even more spooky-cute details. I added additional pre-cut Halloween images inside the folds using Mini Glue Dots to tie the design together.
Inside the card, I layered Pumpkin Pie cardstock and Basic White cardstock, creating the perfect space to write a Halloween message. A few more pre-cut images were added to the inside to coordinate with the front of the card and complete the design.
