Hi, stamper — welcome to another Stampin’ Up! Demos Fun Fold Blog Hop. Today I’m sharing a festive Christmas Slimline Box Card, a clever mash-up of a Slimline Card and a Card-in-a-Box that folds flat for mailing but pops open to display a full holiday scene.

I started with a Poppy Parade slimline card base and built the pop-out front with additional Poppy Parade cardstock so it opens for display and folds flat for mailing — perfect for mail-friendly handmade Christmas cards. I used the Jolly Delivery bundle and the North Pole Delivery Designer Series Paper to create the scene; the DSP includes adorable patterned paper plus two full sheets of pre-cut printed images that make decorating this fun fold card quick and easy.

For the front pop-out I arranged the precut houses, mailbox and truck from the DSP to create a cozy little town, and added a sloped strip of Basic White cardstock to the cross members to look like freshly fallen snow. The opening in the pop-out is layered with acetate so the scene reads a bit like a snow globe when the card is on display.

To the left of the pop-out I created a second vignette using DSP for the snowy backdrop and another Basic White slope. This panel features stamped images from the Jolly Delivery stamp set, colored with Stampin’ Blends, and die-cut with the Jolly Delivery dies for extra dimension and polish.

The sentiment is stamped in Garden Green onto a Basic White strip backed with Garden Green, the ends trimmed at an angle and popped with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. Inside the card I used a Basic White layer so you can stamp another greeting, add a small scene, or leave space for a heartfelt handwritten message.
I’ve put together a step-by-step video that walks you through the entire process so you can recreate this Christmas Slimline Box Card at home. Try this fun fold with the Jolly Delivery bundle and North Pole Delivery DSP for classic holiday cards, or swap in different Designer Series Paper for birthdays, baby showers, or any occasion — the fold is so versatile. Leave a comment and tell me which Designer Series Paper you’d use with this fold — I love hearing your ideas and seeing what you create!
