Hi, Stampers. Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals Blog Hop. This month’s “Something New” theme was the perfect opportunity to try a brand-new fun fold while showcasing some of my favorite new Stampin’ Up! products from the January–April Mini Catalog. I’m sharing a handmade Valentine’s Day fun fold card created with the Endless Love Bundle and the Made With Love Designer Series Paper. This Valentine’s Day card starts with a Pretty in Pink card base layered with coordinating patterns from the Made With Love Designer Series Paper. One of the things I appreciate most about Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper is that the coordinating colors are listed right on the package. I use my Stampin’ Up! cardstock sample swatch book ring to quickly match colors, making it easy to choose the perfect cardstock and ink combinations for my handmade cards.

Inside this fun fold card, you will find two pop-out panels that create a beautiful interactive display when the card is opened. These panels are also layered with the Made With Love DSP and were added after the Basic White interior layer was adhered. This extra dimension makes the card stand up beautifully and adds a “wow” factor that is perfect for Valentine’s Day. The sentiments from the Made With Love stamp set are stamped on the Basic White layer using Flirty Flamingo and Pretty in Pink inks, with sweet stamped hearts adding a playful finishing touch.

The front of the card features two heart tags die-cut from Real Red cardstock using the Endless Love Dies. One heart includes a die-cut “XO” and the other an “XX,” both cut from Basic White cardstock with Adhesive Sheets for easy placement. I tied soft bows, on my bow maker tool, from 1/8″ Bubble Bath Ribbon and added them to each heart for a charming accent. Additional hearts were die-cut from Pretty in Pink cardstock and softly sponged with Pretty in Pink ink to create even more depth and interest throughout the card.
