Hi, Stampers. Today’s card is monochromatic and it’s PINK!  Pink is my favorite color and I just love the 2021-2023 in-color – Polished Pink.

My monochromatic card starts with a Polished Pink card base – 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″.  Next, I adhered a 1/2″ x 5-1/2″ strip of Silver Foil paper to a 2″ x 5-1/2″ strip of the Polished Pink DSP, so that it peeks out from underneath the DSP.  These were then adhered to the card front on the left side.

Using the Blessings from home stamp set, I stamped the large flowers onto a piece of Basic White CS and the sentiment onto a 4″ x 1/2″ strip of Basic White CS in Polished Pink ink. Using all the same color is what makes my card “monochromatic”.  Stampin’ Up! color coordinating makes this super simple!

I die cut the flowers using the coordinating Flowers of Home Dies and adhered it to the card front using stampin’ seal. I used the Banner Pick a Punch to flag either end of the strip with the sentiment. Polished Pink ink was sponged onto the edges and it was then adhered it to the card front using stampin’ dimensionals. A Polished Pink bow and some Polished Pink jewels finished off the front of the monochromatic card.

Inside my monochromatic card is a 4″ x 5-1/4″ layer of Basic White CS. I stamped flowers in the upper left and lower right corner and then the sentiment in the middle, using Polished Pink ink.
