Hi Stampers. Happy Friday!  We did it – we made it though that first week after the holidays.  Today’s share has a new video tutorial on how to make a decorative corner card.  Anyone who has followed me for any length of time knows I’m crazy about fancy folds!  The color choice was inspired by the challenge at Global Design Project (#GDP017) – they challenged us to use Crumb Cake, Rose Red and Garden Green.

On the Whisper White layer I used the Rose from the Picture Perfect stamp set in the upper left and lower right corner, stamped in Rose Red ink.  The sentiment in the middle is from the same stamp set and stamped in Crumb Cake ink.

decorative-corner-rose-1 The focal point of the card is a piece of Rose Red card stock cut with the #5 (counting from inside out) of the Lots of Labels framelit dies and a piece of Whisper White card stock cut with the #4 of the Lots of Labels framelit dies.

decorative-corner-rose-4To be sure that the labels on the front  of the card would move when the card was opened, I used a 1″ circle punch and cut two circles from Whisper White card stock and scored in the middle.

As I promised in my December Pals blog hop post, here is a video showing you how I made this card:
