Hi Stampers. Wow, the month of October just flew by!  October is breast cancer awareness month. I wanted to be sure and post this card using the Stampin’ Up! Ribbon of Courage stamp set before October ended.  This card is perfect for anyone battling breast cancer.  Of course, you can change up the color and have it represent any cancer survivor.

I this new fold I have discovered.  It’s simple and yet a little bit different.  This card starts with a Blushing Bride card base that is just 4″ x 5 1/2″. Next is a 8″ x 5 1/4″ layer of Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper.  The DSP was scored at 4″ and again at 2″ and is then folded into a Z pattern.

The top of the card has a 3″ x 4 1/4″ layer of Blushing Bride CS and 2 3/4″ x 4″ Whisper White CS. Onto the Whisper White layer, I stamped the ribbon (from the Stampin’ Up! Ribbon of Courage stamp set) in Blushing Bride ink.  The word “couage” was stamped onto a 3″ x 1/2″ strip of Whisper White in Blushing Bride ink.  I then flagged the ends with my paper snips and sponged the edges with Blushing Bride ink. The banner was attached to the card front with stampin’ dimensionals.

The inside of the card also has a 3″ x 4 1/4″ layer of Blushing Bride CS and 2 3/4″ x 4″ Whisper White CS. Onto the Whisper White layer, I stamped the sentiment (also from the Stampin’ Up! Ribbon of Courage stamp set) in Blushing Bride ink.
