Hi Stampers. Yesterday, I shared with you the Stampin’ Bunco event that I held last October. That event was so fun that we planned another Stampin’ Bunco event for January 2020. Unfortunately, the weatherman predicted a HUGE snow storm. (That was NOT huge). We decided to postpone, in order to keep everyone safe and off the roads. It was finally held in early February at my home – it was a blast!

During the event we play 4 sets of rounds 1-6. We play 2 of those sets, then make 3 Stampin’ Up! cards or projects and then play 2 more sets. It’s really fun and you don’t need to know how to play – you learn as you go!

We had more snacks and another cream cheese dice to go with the crackers. But, the BIG HIT was the wrapped Reese’s peanut butter cups! No Stampin’ Bunco event is complete without chocolate.

This time all the players got the Special Someone stamp set. This is a two step stamping set, so we stamped them all using the Stamparatus for perfect placement.
Stampin’ Tip: Two step stamping is where you stamp the outline of an image with one stamp and fill in the color with a second stamp.

Plus, after Stampin’ Bunco, anyone who placed an order that day got a 10% discount off their entire order.

Everyone asked to do it again – so the next Stampin’ Bunco event is scheduled for March 28th, 2020. If you are local – I hope you can join us!

Hi Stampers. Recently, I’ve been trying different things to improve my business. One of those things is adding Stampin’ Bunco events to my calendar! My first Stampin’ Bunco event was last October. We held the event at the DL Evans Bank in downtown Twin Falls. The bank colors are Red, White & Blue, so I used those colors for my decorations.

Bunco is played by a group of 12 or more. There are 4 players to a table. I made table tents to label each table and tell the players how to rotate after each round.

I made these cute little 4″ x 4″ boxes and decorated them to look like dice and filled them with Stampin’ Up! goodies. Each person also got a name badge, of course.

We had plenty of bottled water for every one – so those were labeled too. 🙂

I made this Bunco Banner using my Stampin’ Up! trimmer, punches and my Brother Scan-N-Cut machine for the big letters.

Each player got a packet of supplies, a stamp set and a roll of ribbon to go with the goodies in the dice boxes.

No event is complete without a spread of yummy snacks! It was October – so of course the treat were Halloween themed,

All, except the cheese and crackers – those were Bunco themed!

Bunco is played in rotating teams of two. Each person takes turns rolling three dice. The first round you roll for 1s, the next for 2s and so on…

Someone at the table keeps score and the highest score moves up – towards the “head table”.

If someone gets 3 of a kind – of the number you are rolling for that round, it’s called a BUNCO and you get thrown the Bunco Pal to hold until the next person gets a bunco. The person who has it at the end, gets a prize. There are Stampin’ Up! prizes for the person with the most Buncos, prize for the least Buncos, prize for a 50/50 split, prize for most and least mini Buncos, etc EVERYONE wins a Stampin’ Up! prize to add to the all attendee giveaways.
The Stampin’ Projects:

The stamp set that each player was given was the To Every Season stamp set. One card was made using a “fall” theme.

The next card was a “winter theme” and used punches for the focal point and the white snowflakes. We used the Every Season Punch Pack that coordinated with the stamp set.

The third and final card was a Valentine’s Day theme and added the Stitched Rectangle dies and Rose Glimmer Paper. It was so fun – they all wanted to do it again in January! Yippee!s

Hi Stampers. I can’t even begin to explain how fun OnStage was. It’s like being in a room full of your best friends playing with your favorite hobby!
Friday evening was the leadership event that they call Centre Stage, so we got to check in and get our backpack and some product early. The rest of the demos had to wait and register Saturday morning. I didn’t realize until I saw the madhouse that registration was on Saturday morning. It was truly a pleasure to register without all the lines.

We are given a name badge and ribbons for our accomplishments.

This was the place setting on Friday night with our extra leadership gifts.

Friday night we also received the new 2020 Spring Mini Catalog, 2020 Sale-A-Bration Brochure and a list of the products we could pre-order at the event.

This is me with some of the other demos from the Stampin’ Pretty pals that attended the Centre Stage event. These are some pretty awesome ladies!

The Stampin’ Pretty Pals is lead by the FANTASTIC Mary Fish! She was number 1 in the company (out of 50,000+ demos) in several areas. We are so blessed to call her our “fearless leader” and friend!

Stampin’ Up! had two backdrops with props for us to take photos with.

Our event was held at the event center at Bally’s Casino and Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Stampin’ Up! always does a great job at spoiling us and treating us well.

Our place settings at OnStage on Saturday.

Inside that box and in those two packages were the make and takes we did that day.

Brian Pilling and Donna Griffith from Stampin’ Up! headquarters did a fabulous job presenting it all.

Several of my friends (and myself) were recognized for our accomplishments. Here is my friend Janey Backer walking across stage for being in the top 100 demos for the 2018-2019 Stampin’ Up! year!

It was a fun surprise to see my friend and fellow demo, Lorri Heiling, knock it outta that park with her presentation on a new stamp bundle! Hers were easily the most impressive samples of the day!

While in Las Vegas I was also able to see my son and his family!
My son and his wife
Me and my granddaughter

Hi Stampers. I apologize that I have been a bit MIA lately. This last weekend I had a booth at the College of Southern Idaho (CSI) Harvest Festival. It was a 3 day event and I was a bit panicked about having enough stock to last all three days. Thankfully, I only ran out of a few items. Sales were good and I gathered some names to add to my newsletter of people interested in attending classes. Woohoo! Here are a few pictures of my booth. The event was held in their Expo Center – which is also where they hold their rodeos – hence the dirt floor.

I sold quite a few cards and small candy stocking stuffer type gifts.

People seemed to love the framed samplers. The lady who bought the lighted one was very excited about it. That makes me happy!

My husband made me this great card rack a few years ago. I get alot of compliments on it.

He also made my pay station podium. It came in super handy and then came apart easily to fold flat for storing it until the next craft fair. I am very blessed to have such a talented and supportive husband!

I can’t wait to do this event again next year!!
