I am extremely honored today to be chosen as a guest stamper for the amazing Mary Fish of Stampin’ Pretty!  I was very humbled when she picked me to be a guest stamper.  I asked her “do you think I’m good enough”…  and she said YES!!!  How cool is that???

I struggled with making a card I felt was worthy of being showcased….  I surfed for ideas online and stumbled over this awesome bedroom:

Isn’t it beautiful!?!  So relaxing and calm looking…

I pulled out my stamping stuff and finally came up with this:

Stampin' Up! Pansy Punch Flowers handmade card by Lisa Ann Bernard of Queen B Creations

The card base is done in Marina Mist, layered with Silver Glimmer paper and designer series paper from the new holiday catalog

the flowers were punched out of Marina Mist and the Silver Glimmer paper using the Pansy punch.

I sponged the edges with Marina Mist and on the scalloped oval, I used the two-way glue pen and added some dazzling diamonds.  The center of the Marina Mist pansy is a brad and for the center of the Silver Glimmer paper pansies I punched out a small circle and pushed into the Marina Mist ink pad to absorb the color, then attached it to the center with a glue dot.  One of the silver pansies and the scallop circle are adhered with stampin’ dimensionals.

Card recipe:

Cardstock:

  • Marina Mist card base – 4.25″ by 11″, scored at 5.5″ and folded in half
  • Silver Glimmer paper layer – 4″ by 5.25″ (to save paper, I cut a rectangle out of the middle leaving just enough to hide the whole when I layered the designer paper over the top.
  • Designer Series paper – 3.75″ by 5″
