Hi there, I hope you are enjoying your week.  As of today – we are more than half way to the weekend!  Yippee!

Today’s card is a simple one.  It’s a cute little birthday card that can be used for male or female, young or old and it’s super easy to make up in a hurry.

The card base is done in Soft Suede.  I adhered a layer of  2.75″ x  4.25″ Chocolate Chip, topped with a 2.5″ x 4″ layer of Big Top Birthday Designer Series Paper (retired – an alternative DSP is listed below in the supplies list), put on with the tape runner. The cupcake frosting was stamped onto a 2.25″ x 2.25″ square of Whisper White, with Real Red Sprinkles stamped on top and Happy Birthday stamped in Basic Black beneath.  The cupcake base was stamped on a separate piece of cardstock with Chocolate Chip and punched out with the cupcake builder punch.  The cherry was punched out with the cupcake builder punch as well, using Real Red cardstock. That piece was then layered with a 2.5″ x 2.5″ piece of Pacific Point and a 2.75″ x 2.75″ piece of Chocolate Chip and attached with dimensionals.

I’m looking forward to wishing someone a Happy Birthday with this card.
