I’ve continued my quest for male birthday cards with the Stampin’ Up! Rev Up the Fun set. I thought it paired really well with our new Hardwood background stamp from the Stampin’ Up! occasions catalog.
I started out with a Basic Black card base (11″ x 4 1/4″, scored at 5 1/2″). The next layer is (4″ x 5 1/4″) in Cherry Cobbler. I stamped the background stamp on there with Early Espresso. I was going for an old barn feel. The tire treads were stamped onto a 4″ x 1 1/2″ strip of Whisper White with Basic Black. The Motorcycle was also stamped in Basic Black onto Whisper White cardstock and fussy cut out with the Stampin’ Up! paper snips and attached with stampin’ dimensionals. The Rev Up the Fun saying is stamped in Cherry Cobbler onto Whisper White and cut out with the Word Bubble framelits on the Big Shot and attached with stampin’ dimensionals.
I’m pretty happy with how it came out. Now I’m off to enjoy the rest of my Saturday. Have a great weekend everyone!
Happy Stamping,
Lisa
