Oh my gosh! Yesterday was SO FUN! Stampin’ Up! rented out 40 movie theaters across the country and had a live “Red Carpet” even in Long Beach, CA, that was broadcast live to all the other locations, to show us the new catalog! Wow!!
I went to Sacramento to see the premiere. My upline and I made a day of it. I left Ukiah around 8am and met up with her in Lower Lake. Then we headed towards Sacramento. Our first stop was IKEA, in West Sacramento. I’ve never been to an IKEA. When looking at Pinterest all the really cool offices had IKEA products – so I just HAD to see this store for myself. Wow! What an amazing place! It was HUGE! I’m saving my money for new stamps and convention – but, I did by some rails to store my punches on. The price was just too good to pass up!
We arrived at the theater about 1pm and met up with 4 other demos at the nearby Applebees for lunch and a card swap. Other demos had the same idea – so we had many “instant friends”. Something about being part of Stampin’ Up! makes everyone so friendly. I guess it’s because we all love our job so much!
The theater was ready for us. They even put the name “Stampin’ Up!” on the theater billboard. 🙂
Shortly after we got there, a Stampin’ Up! employee from Headquarters in Salt Lake City showed up to check us in. She started setting up tables and the theater employees pulled out LOTS of boxes from a storage closet and the all had our logo on the side! Yippee! Free stuff!
This is our group of Stampin’ Pretty Pals at the premiere waiting to go in to see our “movie”.
the presentation was AMAZING! It was in four parts: Of course we heard from our beloved Shelli, then there were three product demos. I was excited about how the did it. I’ve forever used the phrase – you need a SIP. Stamps, Ink and Paper. That’s how they arranged the presentations – one focused on stamps, next focused on ink, then focused on paper. All the presenters were amazing and really funny! They also gave each other little “love notes”. Handmade cards that they made for each other – was so cute. Working at headquarters must be so fun!
Then came the moment we were all waiting for – we got our very own copy of the catalog! They didn’t end there – we also got a copy of the Spanish catalog, the newest “Stampin’ Success” (our demo magazine) and a brand new stamp set (valued at $29.95)!
I can’t wait to share the new catalog with you!
