Well, here we are again – MONDAY!  Several of my friends have embarked on a cruise to the Caribbean paid for by Stampin’ Up!  I wish I was there with them!!  Guess I just need to work a little harder this year…

Since I’m stuck here at home – I’m in need of lots of coffee.  So, I poured myself a 20oz cup of coffee and  broke out my Perfect Blend stamp set to do a card about coffee.  As the stamp says: “Given enough coffee, i could rule the world, temporarily”.

This card has a Very Vanilla card base, a layer of Soft Suede (5.25″ x 4″) and a layer of Very Vanilla (5″ x 3.75″) that has Soft Suede ink sponged onto the sides.  The coffee cup was stamped in Early Espresso ink.  The saying was stamped onto a scrap of Very Vanilla cardstock and punched out with the large oval punch.  The shape behind the oval was punched out of a scrap of Soft Suede cardstock with the decorative label punch. The label and the oval were also sponged with Soft Suede ink on the edges. The oval was adhered to the label with snail adhesive and the label was adhered to the card with Stampin’ dimensionals.  The “coffee splatters” is from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set and stamped with Soft Suede ink.
Who wants to get together to stamp?  We can meet up and stamp at Starbucks!
