Hi there, stampers! Today I’m playing along with the Pals Paper Arts Challenge. They post a weekly challenge, alternating between a sketch challenge and a color combination. For this weeks challenge, they gave us this color combination
and here is the card I cam up with:
This is a Night of Navy card base with a 5.25″ x 4″ layer of Cajun Craze, then a 5″ x 3.75″ layer of Very Vanilla. I stamped the hardwood background stamp in Cajun Craze onto the Very Vanilla Layer. I used the Starburst saying “oh, Happy Day” stamp on a scrap of Very Vanilla with Night of Navy ink and cut it out with the Starburst framelits on the big shot. I used the banner framelits and big shot to cut the little flags for under the starburst. The Starburst is adhered with Stampin’ dimensionals for a little pop.
I hope you like it. You still have time to play along – the challenge is open until noon Tuesday, May 13th.
Have you contacted me yet to get your copy of the new annual catalog? Email me and I’ll be sure you get one in your hot little hands. I promise you are gonna LOVE IT!!
Love the CAS!! Very fun card!! Thank you for playing this week with us at PPA!!!
LOL – I must spend too much time online. I didn’t even know it was a CAS – I was just trying to use the starburst, since I hadn’t yet and it’s a carry over to the new catalog. 🙂
Great card! I love the ribbon you’ve created.
Thank you. It was really simple to use the banner framelit for that “ribbon”
