Most of the coloring I’ve seen done with the Blendabilities have been with flowers.  I wanted to try something masculine and pulled out my Boys will Be Boys stamp set.  I used a Pacific Point card base with a 4″ x 5.25″ layer of Whisper White.  I stamped on the Whisper White layer with Black Momento ink and colored in with the blendabilities.
Stampin’ Tip: I stamped the Happy Birthday on a scrap of Whisper White and cut it out with a framelit from the Project Life set.  I then took the same framelit and traced around the outside of it on Cherry Cobbler and cut it out with my paper snips.  This seemed to give me the perfect matting piece for under the Happy Birthday.

While coloring, I did slip and color outside the lines a little bit. (Hey, I’m still learning.)  But, the color lifter saved my day and allowed me to push the color back into the lines making it look like I never goofed!  That’s too cool!!

Happy Stamping,
