Happy Friday, all!!!  The weekend is almost here!  I have another quick and easy card for you today.  Can you see the card base here?  Look close – I stamped on the Wisteria Wonder cardstock with the flower from Regarding Dahlias and Versamark Ink.  Then just heat set it – without the embossing powder.  It gave it a great “watermark” look.

On top of my “watermarked” Wisteria Wonder cardbase, I have a 5″ x 3.75″ layer of Whisper White.  I wanted a wider boarder around the outside edge, to show off the “watermarks”.  I stamped the flower on the Whisper White layer and added White Embossing powder, then heat set that.  Once it was dry I just sponged Wisteria Wonder ink over the top and rubbed it around.  This is the Emboss Resist technique I did the video on a last month. (See YouTube video here.) The phrase is just a simple Happy Birthday stamped in Wisteria Wonder ink and then punched out with the Word Window punch and matted in Wisteria Wonder cardstock with the Modern Label punch.

Quick Tip: I almost always will stamp first – then punch.  I look at the back of the punch and line up my image in the punch making sure it’s perfectly centered.  It’s much easier than punching and then trying to center the stamped imagine in the small space.

Do you have something fun planned for the weekend?  Leave me a comment!  I’d love to know what you are up to this weekend!
