Happy Saturday, Stampers. I’m hoping you have fun plans for the weekend. I do! I’ll be stamping my swap cards for Stampin’ Up! Convention! I need to make 50 cards for one swap and 25 for another. Therefore, today’s card is a simple one. This card shows that it doesn’t have to be complex to be handmade and from the heart.
This card is on a Wild Wasabi card base with a 4″ x 5.25″ layer of Marina Mist. The top layer is a 3.75″ x 5″ layer of Very Vanilla. I used the Thoughts and Prayers stamp set in Wild Wasabi ink. The final touch was a bow made of linen thread attached with a glue dot. Simple ellegance in a snap!
Stampin’ Tip: If you want to step it up a notch, you could use the brush end of our Stampin’ Markers to color onto the stamp before stamping – maybe make the flowers a bright pink. This allows you to get multiple colors onto one stamped image. Then maybe add a punched butterfly and a few rhinestones…
I have listed out the few supplies that were used below – they can all be purchased in my online store.
Now – go enjoy your Saturday!
Happy Stamping,
