If you didn’t already know – I’m a Techy – a total computer nerd! Needless to say, I was THRILLED when I saw some “techy” stamps in the new Stampin’ Up! annual catalog! I couldn’t wait to make an iPhone card – like I had seen on Pinterest several times.
I started out with a standard card base in basic black. It was too wide – so, I trimmed it down by 1.25″. I ended up with a piece of basic black 5.5″ x 6″ folded in half. So, my card is 5.5″ x 3″. Does that make sense? I rounded the corners with a corner rounder punch. The Whisper White layer is 5.25″ x 2.75″ – with the corners rounded. The “screen” is Basic Grey – cut at 3.75″ x 2.5″. The “home button” was punched out of Whisper White cardstock with a 1/2″ punch, with a hand drawn square, made with a Basic Black Marker. The camera, etc at the top was also drawn by hand with a Basic Black marker. Then it really started to look like a phone!
I picked a few sayings from the @SoSocial stamp set for the front of the card. On the inside is another piece of Whisper White cardstock – 5.25″ x 2.75″ with the corners rounded. I left it blank to leave a space to write my message.
I can’t wait to make more cards like this one! If you are in need of any of the supplies to make this card on your own – there are links below to all the supplies I used.
Happy Stamping!
