Hi Stampers! Are you living the life YOU imagined? I am LOVING my job as a Stampin’ Up! demo, but in the last year I’ve put on a few pounds – that I’ve previously taken OFF!! So, I decided to do something about it. Two of my friends have been doing Beachbody workouts and look amazing! The other day they started posting on facebook about a new workout called PiYO. This one caught my attention. When they did P90X and Combat – I thought “good for you, but there is NO WAY I could pull that off!” This new PiYO workout is a combination of Yoga and Pilates and has no jumping. I have a bad back and bad knees, so that workout intrigued me. I looked into it and decided to give it a try.
Being as I HATE to pay full price. I got talked into signing up as a coach. I’ll be the first to say, I have no business coaching anyone. But, hey, I’d love to have people try this workout with me and we can encourage each other. My new website for Beachbody is: http://www.beachbodycoach.com/LisaAnn222 Go check it out!
Now – on to today’s card. The gal who signed me up wanted a few cards to send to her customers (now do you see how this all connects to my comments above? LOL)
This card started with a Crumb Cake card base. I stamped the Dahlia from Regarding Dahlias with the Versamark pad directly on the card base and embossed with white embossing powder. I then sponged Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo and Perfect Plum over the white embossing. (The emboss resist technique – video on my YouTube channel.)
Stampin’ Tip: You may not recognize the shape of the tag on the front. It’s one of the framelits from Chalk Talk, but I trimmed off the top and bottom – giving me a whole new shape!
The phrase is from the Really Good Greetings stamp set. I stamped it in Melon Mambo and put a few Melon Mambo candy dots to accent it. She loved it – I hope you do too!
Happy Stamping,
