Hi there, Stampers. I hope you enjoyed the blog hop yesterday. There were some great projects, showcasing all of the great tools that Stampin’ Up! has. Today I have another card that I made as a special order. A friend of mine is a Beachbody coach (she actually signed me up to be a coach too – so my daughter and I could get the discount – see my site here) and she asked for some cards to mail out to her customers.
The cardbase is Whisper White and I added a layer of Blushing Bride cardstock that I ran through the big shot with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder. I found this saying in our Feels Good stamp set and thought it would pair well with a scale. We didn’t have one, so I cut the square by hand from Marina Mist cardstock and sponged a little Marina Mist ink to the edges with a sponge dauber. I then used a punch and a circle framelit to make the circles for the scale (one black, one white) and drew the dots and arrow by hand with our thin project life journaling pen. The saying was stamped on Whisper White cardstock and cut out with the Labels Collection framelits die. I added rinestones at the end of each swirl and adhered the label to the card with dimensionals. She loved it. I hope the customer she mailed it to, did too.
