Hi Stampers. I’m doing a little something different today. Instead of showcasing a card I made, I’m sharing with you a card I received. I had a few other Stampin’ Up! demonstrators over a few weeks ago and we made cards. Recently, I received this card from Merry Catron, as a Thank You.
I just LOVE the watercolor effect! It came out so pretty! She even added watercolor to the envelope. She addressed it to mail to me, but due to the 3D flowers, it was thicker than the standard 1/4″ the postal service prefers. So, she stopped by and just stuck it on my door.
Here is a close up of the flowers. As you can see, the card was done using Stampin’ Up! watercolor paper. The flowers were colored, punched out and then crumbled before assemble and adhering to the card. The sentiment was stamped twice in two different colors, just offset a little for the shadow effect.
Merry’s Stampin’ Up! upline has dropped and she is without leadership and training. I think she’s doing a fantastic job! Don’t you all think she would make a great addition to my Creative Royalty team? *hint hint* *wink wink*
Thank you so much Merry for such a pretty card and for sharing your talents with us!
