Hi Stamper friends! I’ve been a Stampin’ Up! stamper for over 20 years and I am so happy that they are coming back with more 2-step stamping ideas!  This flower patch stamp set is a great example.  The new and improved 2-step stamping sets are now photopolymer, so you can see clear through them and line them up without the aid of the stamp-a-ma-jig.  don’t get me wrong, the stamp-a-ma-jig is a cool tool that I love to use for precise placement.  But, these clear photopolymer stamps give us the option to do it without, which could prove to be much faster for those of us in a hurry!

This bright and cheery cards started with a Delightful Daffodil card base and a 5.25″ x 4″ layer of Whisper White.  I stamped the flowers using two colors for each one.  Wisteria Wonder & Elegant Eggplant, Crisp Cantaloupe & Calypso Coral, So Saffron & Delightful Daffodill and Blushing Bride & Strawberry Slush. The leaves were stamped in Wild Wasabi ink.

Stampin’ Tip:  If you don’t have that many matching colors.  You could do 2-step stamping with the same color.  For the base, ink up the stamp and stamp it onto scrap paper and then onto your card stock.  For the top layer, ink up the stamp and stamp directly on the cardstock.  This is called second generation stamping and makes the base a lighter color than the top.

The sentiment was stamped in Elegant Eggplant on a 1″ x 4″ strip of Whisper White cardstock and layers of a 1.25″ x 4″ strip of Wild Wasabi cardstock. The pink flower was stamped on a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock and cut out with the matching set of framelits on the big shot and was adhered with a dimensional. A few pearls were added for that little touch of bling. Buy the stamps and framelits as a bundle and save 15%!

As always the supplies needed to create this card are available in my online store.  If you don’t have the big shot already – THIS IS THE MONTH TO PURCHASE IT!  We have a big shot big deal going on now! It could save you $60!

I will be back later today to post your Tuesday Sales.

Happy Shopping & Stamping,
