Hi Stampers! Today’s Big News card is for you – is there no limit to our awesomeness?
This card started out with a Basic Gray card base (8.5″ x 5.5″, scored at 4.25″). I then added a 5.25″ x 4″ layer of Blackberry Bliss card stock. I stamped on a Whisper White layer, cut at 5″ x 3.75″. I used the starburst from the Stampin’ Up! Kinda Eclectic stamp set, stamped in Basic Gray ink. The saying is from the Stampin’ Up! Big News stamp set and was stamped in Blackberry Bliss ink. The butterfly was punched out of a piece of Designer Series Paper from Stampin’ Up!s Moonlight Designer Series Paper stack using the Elegant Butterfly punch. I added a few basic rhinestones to the body of the butterfly and attached it to the card with a tiny piece of a dimensional.
Stampin’ Tip: I like to use the edges of the stamping dimensionals for attaching really small pieces that I wanted popped up. They are small enough that they hide well and it makes the most of every scrap of my supplies.
