Hi Stampers. Halloween is just a few short weeks away.  I’m not big on the scary stuff.  My Halloween decorating is more fall related and “cutesy” – which is why I just LOVE this velum jack-o-lantern made with the Stampin’ Up! curvy keepsakes box thinlit die.
curvy-tealight-pumpkinTo make this cute little jack-o-lantern, I cut two pieces of velum with the Stampin’ Up! Curvy Keepsake Box thinlit die on the Big Shot.  I then rubbed pumpkin pie ink all over one side of these pieces (those sides would be the “inside” of the pumpkin) with a sponge dauber.  I assembled the box, with an electric tea light on the inside and hand hand cut the pieces for the face out of Basic Black card stock.  I adhered those pieces with glue dots.  I then cut a VERY thin strip of Garden Green card stock and curled it by wrapping it around the my Stampin’ Up! Paper Piercing Tool and then cut some leaves with my Stampin’ Up! Bird Builder punch from Garden Green card stock.  I adhered these to the pumpkin using glue dots, being sure to make sure you could still open the box to turn the tea light on and off.

You can buy all the supplies to make this from my online store.  I would LOVE to be YOUR Stampin’ Up! demonstrator!

Happy Stamping,
