Hi Stampers.  Hopefully you are subscribed to my newsletter and got my note yesterday about how thankful I am for all of you out there in Stamper-land.  Stamping keeps me sane and it’s the support of folks like you that make it possible for me to make a job out of something that I LOVE to do!  So, it’s only appropriate that today’s card be Thanksgiving related.
give-thanks-peekabooThis is a saying I try to remind myself of often – “give thanks for all things”.  This peek a boo card starts out with a Garden Green card base, folded into a gate fold.  The card stock was cut a 8.5″ x 5.5″ and scored at 2 1/8″ form each side and folded towards the middle.  I cut out the banners in Blackberry Bliss and Very Vanilla using the Big Shot and the banner framelits.  Using the Stampin’ Up! For All Things stamp set, I stamped the leaves on the card base using VersaMark ink.

Stampin’ Tip: Using VersaMark ink on any color card stock gives you a watermark effect.

I then stamped the paint blotch in Hello Honey ink and the saying in Blackberry Bliss ink.  I used snail adhesive to layer then banners and then put some on the back of the left side of the banners and adhered it to the card base, just on the one side – so that the card will still open.

The inside of the card is a peek-a-boo shutter.  You can see how to do that in this post from September.

A list of supplies used to make this card are listed below and can be purchased in my online store.
