Hi, Stampers. As I was contemplating what to post today, I realized it’s Friday. So lets have some fun – Fun Friday! LOL These two little ideas were shared on a facebook group I belong too and I’m told they are good sellers at the craft fairs. So, I’ve made some – they are too cute!
The kids movie, Frozen, is all the rage now for those with little ones. Within that movie is a song called “Do you wanna build a snowman). So, this little bag is a build a snowman kit. This kit contains: One Jumbo marshmallow, two large marshmallows, two pretzel sticks, one candy corn (for the nose) and five mini M&Ms (two for eyes and three for buttons). The candy will stick to marshmallows with frosting (not included).
I used to make these with a tag topper that said “snowman poop” – but now that Olaf is the big deal, I changed it up a bit. The tag topper now says “Olaf poop” and has a punch art Olaf.
Olaf started out with a Extra Large oval in Whisper White card stock. But, in looking at Olaf’s face, it’s got a funky shape to it. So I fussy cut one until it looked right then used that as a template to cut the rest of them. I then used half of a large oval in Basic Black card stock for the mouth. For the nose I needed a smaller oval. So, I created one using MDS and my eCutter to fit. For the nose, I saw a cute trick online. They punched a 1/2″ circle out of Pumpkin Pie card stock and then lined up the circle punch again on the card stock just shifting the punch to the side to get the crescent shape for the nose. I then drew lines with my crumb cake marker to make it look like a carrot. Teeth and hair were fussy cut, eyes are google eyes and eyebrows hand drawn. This were very time consuming, but came out cute. 🙂
