Hi Stampers.  I had a great weekend – I hope you did too!  Two craft fairs in two days!  Now – iSleepy!  Which makes it the perfect day to show you this card made using the napkin technique.
isleepyThis super cute card started off with a Pool Party card base (8.5″ x 5.5″ – scored at 4.25″).  Next is a 5.25″ x 4″ layer of Whisper White card stock and I stamped the sparkles from the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Home stamp set in Bermuda Bay ink.  I attached the 4.5″ x 2.5″ layer of Bermuda Bay card stock with dimensionals.  The little “flag” out the side is punched out of Bermuda Bay card stock with the Stampin’ Up! banner punch with a rhinestone in the middle.

The main focal point – the saying – was made using the napkin technique.  It started out as a tissue. I found a pack of them at the big box store for $1.00.
isleepy-tissueI peeled the top layer off and glued it to a 4.25″ x 2.25″ piece of Whisper White card stock with the Stampin’ Up! glue stick.
isleepy-tissue2After it was glued to the card stock, I put Versamark ink all over that layer and poured heat and stick powder all over it and tapped off the excess and put it back in the jar.  Then I heated the heat and stick with my Stampin’ Up! heat gun until melted.  When it was all melted it was sticky – then I poured dazzling diamonds over that and tapped off excess and adhered that layer to the card.

It was a fun technique to do and I’m really happy with how it turned out.  I hope you give it a try.

Happy Stamping!
