Hi Stampers.  I’m writing this post on Wednesday and scheduling it to post on Thursday because Northern California is expected to get 5-8 inches of rain in about 24 hours.  So, we are anticipating a loss in power at some point tomorrow.  Hopefully, not but it never hurts to be prepared.

I wanted to share this Christmas card with you that is made with the Stampin’ Up! Wondrous Wreath stamp set and matching framelit set.  I love the detailed look without the actually fussy cutting!
wonderful-wreathThis very easy card starts with a Wild Wasabi card base (5.5″ x 8.5″ – scored at 4.25″).  Next is a layer of Whisper White card stock 5.25″ x 4″.  The Wondrous Wreath stamp set is a two-step stamping set – meaning that I stamped the base of the wreath (all the leaves) onto a scrap of Wild Wasabi card stock in Wild Wasabi ink.  Then there is a second stamp with just a few leaves that I stamped on top of the first one (they overlap perfect) and stamped with Versamark ink and used clear embossing powder.  A third stamp from the same set has the berries which I stamped in Real Red ink.  I stamped the bow onto a scrap of Whisper White card stock with Real Red ink. Then the entire wreath and the bow were cut out with the framelits.

The wreath was adhered to the Whisper White layer with dimensionals and the bow was adhered to the wreath with a glue dot.  I then stamped the saying in Real Red.  Quick and easy card that’s super cute!
