Hi Stampers. I hope you are having a great week! I’m pouting. Stampin’ Up! Leadership is this week in Orlando Florida and I’m missing it! Sign ups happened as we were preparing to move and I did the “financially smart thing” and decided to skip leadership this year and focus on Sale-a-bration, finding new customers in my new city and looking forward to Stampin’ Up! convention in July.
To try to take my focus off of what I’m missing out on – I turned to stamping and the painters tape technique! Stamping makes me happy!
I made this card quite some time ago. I previously made a video on how to do the scallop tag topper punch closure, but wanted to make a video to show you how to do this “painters tape technique”. Well, today I did it!
Painters Tape Technique Video Tutorial
The Pool Party card base is 11″ x 4.25″. Basically an 8.5″ x 11″ piece of card stock cut in half the long way. The inside of the card has a Whisper White card stock layer 5.25″ x 4″. The outside has an Early Espresso card stock layer 4″ x 3.5″ and a layer of Whisper White card stock 3.75″ x 3.25″. The images and sentiment were from the Stampin’ Up! Wetlands stamp set. The inks used were Soft Sky, Coastal Cabana, Crumb Cake and Early Espresso. It is tied with a 9″ piece of Coastal Cabana ribbon from the Best Day Ever Accessory pack (which you can ONLY get for FREE, by placing a $50 order during Sale-a-bration).
I invite you to place an order with me – all the products used are listed below with links to my online store. Now that Sale-a-bration is underway – it’s the best time ever to book a party with me! You and your guests get extra goodies ONLY available during Sale-a-bration! Email me now to set up an in-house, online or book party!
