Hi Stampers. Today’s card is a simple one based off of the new Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge. This weeks colors are Rose Red, Pink Pirouette and Basic Gray… perfect colors for Valentines Day, which is only a week away.
This card is quick and easy to make. I started with a Pink Pirouette card base (8.5″ x 5.5″, scored at 4.25″). I ran that through the big shot with the Decorative Dots embossing folder. I then cut a 5.5″ x 2″ piece of Rose Red card stock and stamped on it with the new background stamp, Something Lacy and Rose Red ink. I then placed the little letters framelits (L, O, V & E) onto that piece and ran it through the big shot to cut them out. I was having issues centering them and getting them to line up right, so I thought “forget it!” and let them shift all over the place like the wanted and it actually came out cute. LOL I then backed this piece with a 5.5″ x 2.25″ piece of Basic Gray card stock. Then adhered both to the card base.
I hope my card inspires you to go get creative. As always, I’m including the links to all the product used in my card below. If you buy Stampin’ Up! (and don’t already have a demo) I’d love it if you would purchase from my store, I’d love to be YOUR demo!
The pebbly background sets off your sentiment panel perfectly! And I love letters that are askew!
cute use of the die!

Love the haphazard negative effect for the greeting! Like you said… just roll with it! I am so glad the Something Lacy image was released this season… perfect for your card!
