Hi Stampers,

I did it!  I got my newsletter out.  That was another one of my big goals since the move is to get back on track with my monthly newsletter.  Hopefully you are signed up…  It contains some good stuff…

As a bonus to those who are signed up for my newsletter (and provide their birthday and mailing address) I send a birthday card – that’s getting back on track this week too.  So, if you have had a birthday since I moved (and I have your birthday and mailing address) look for a handmade card from me in your mailbox next week.

Good things are happening at Queen B Creations and I’m happy you are here to share in the fun!  Today’s card is for the Pals Paper Arts sketch challenge – PPA240. (I joined their design team at the beginning of the year.)

PPA240This card starts out with a Soft Sky (top fold) card base – 11″ x 4.25″, scored at 5.5″.  I randomly stamped on the card base with the leaves from the Stampin’ Up! Crazy About You stamp set and VersaMark ink.

Stampin’ Tip:  For a watermark look on your card stock you can use the VersaMark ink.  It can be used on any color card stock and will make the image the same color, just a shade darker.  Fun and easy! I love it!

Next was a piece of the Sale-a-bration Irresistibly Yours specialty designer series paper – 5.25″ x 2″.  This white paper has a glossy white pattern on it and I sponged Soft Sky ink on it.  I then stamped the large flower from the same stamp set onto Whisper White card stock with So Saffron, Pink Pirouette and Wisteria Wonder inks and the leaves onto Whisper White card stock with Pear Pizazz ink.  I fussy cut these items out with my paper snips.  (The new Flower Medallion punch on pg 23 of the 2015 Occasions catalog matches this flower and will be on my next order – lol.)  The leaves and flowers were adhered to the card front and I placed a rhinestone in the center of each flower. I love that touch of sparkle.

I’m looking forward to a weekend of stamping – preparing cards and blog posts for the upcoming week.  I hope you too, have something fun planned.

Happy Stamping,
