Hi Stampers. You’ve seen me post every other week as a member of the Team 1 Pals Paper Arts design team, well this week I’ve decided to play along with Team 2. They have a color challenge this week to use: Elegant Eggplant, Perfect Plum and Blackberry Bliss. This is my card –

I started out using the My Digital Studio software. I love that program, I am so sad they are discontinuing it! It’s been a great help in making custom sayings and a quick way to use a stamp set I haven’t ordered yet and don’t have time to wait for delivery on. But, I digress – onto my card….

The saying was printed from my computer onto Whisper White card stock. I then cut that layer to 5.25″ x 4″ and layered it onto a Perfect Plum card base, 5.5″ x 8.5″, scored at 4.25″. Next I cut a strip of Blackberry Bliss card stock 1.25″ x 5.25″ and layer of Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper .75″ x 5.25″ and added them to the top of the card. I finished it off by using a scrap of Elegant Eggplant card stock and the Elegant Butterfly punch to punch a butterfly. I then used a scrap of Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper using the Bitty Butterfly punch to punch a smaller butterfly and attached it to the first butterfly with a glue dot, the the large butterfly to the card with a dimensional.
