Hi Stampers. I’ve had a busy summer – it seems to be flying by and I have yet to go do any fun summer activities! I am thankful for being a design team member for the Pals Paper Arts challenge. This challenge blog guarantees I get some much needed time in my stamp studio. This weeks challenge is a sketch. Here’s my card:
For this card I used a few of the new 2015-2017 Stampin’ Up! In-Colors. The card base is done in Tip Top Taupe (5.5″ x 8.5″, scored at 4.25″), layered with Mint Macaron (4″ x 5.25″) dry embossed with the large polka dots embossing folder and accented with a bit of Delightful Dijon card stock (1″ flag on below a 3/4″ flag in Mint Macaron).
The elephant was stamped in Smokey Slate ink onto Whisper White card stock and punched out with the 2.5″ Stampin’ Up! circle punch and adhered to the card with dimensionals. I added a few candy dots to the flag for a little dimension.
This card was quick and came out cute, thanks to a very helpful sketch to get the creative juices flowing. 😉
Simple, pure and perfect for baby!
Thank you Miss Mary!

Love that elephant! It has been awhile since I brought him out. He is the focus of a sweet card with a focus on dots… just love it! Also love the color combo!
