Hi Stampers.  The Pals Paper Arts gave us a yummy Fall color palette to play with this week: Old Olive, Delightful Dijon and Cajun Craze.PPA266As you well know, I’m a huge fan of the Big Shot and use framelits on a regular basis.  Funny thing is that I don’t own many of the bigz dies.  I told myself they were bulky and took up too much room.  But, then I saw so many cute things done with the little fry box that we sell, I just had to give it a try.  It was amazing how beautifully it cut and scored all at the same time, it even let me use multiple layers at once.  I love it!  Why did I put it off so long???

PPA266 Color Challenge: Stampin’ Up! Fry Box stamped with “For All Things”

I die cut the fry box in Old Olive and Very Vanilla card stock.  I trimmed 1/4″ off the top of the Very Vanilla fry box and then stamped on it using the For All Things stamp set and Old Olive, Delightful Dijon and Cajun Craze ink.  I then used the Hardwood stamp and Old Olive ink to stamp on the Old Olive Fry box.  I then adhered the two together and assembled the fry box.

fry-boxI filled a small clear bag with Peanut Butter M&Ms. My hubby heard me opening the bag and came running to the craft studio “to see what I was working on”…  We won’t talk about the leftovers he took off with.  Goofball!

I then inserted a 2″ strip of Very Vanilla card stock into the scallop tag topper punch and stamped onto it using the For All Things stamp set and Old Olive, Delightful Dijon and Cajun Craze ink. I used our 1/8” gold ribbon to adhere the tag to the bag of candy.  It came out super cute!

Happy Stamping,
