Hi Stampers. I’ve been very busy this month making 155 of these goodies for work (my other work – Crocker & Starr Wines – I’m the finance manager). This month we had a series of luncheons for some guests and I made these little fry boxes and tags for them to fill with nuts and dried fruit to give to the guests.
They were fun to make, I used the Fry Box Bigz L Die to cut the boxes out of colors that kinda match the winery colors already assigned to our wines. I then assembled them with our Tear & Tape Adhesive, it a stronger adhesive then using the snail adhesive. The colors are from the 2014-2016 In-Colors. I used Lost Lagoon, Hello Honey, Blackberry Bliss and Mossy Meadow.
I then used the Hardwood background stamp to stamp the outside of the boxes with the matching ink. Our winemaker (Pam Starr) said it made them look like barrels. I then used the Star framelits to cut out matching stars out of the same colors of card stock. I used a digital file of our mascot (the casali guy) and printed him on Very Vanilla card stock (with my computer and printer) and used the Note Tag punch to punch them out. Near the top of the star and the Note Tag, I punched a 1/8″ hole with our 1/8″ handheld punch.
We filled 4″ x 6″ cellophone bags with nuts and dried fruit and then used the 1/8″ gold or 1/8″ silver ribbon to close the bags and attach the tags to the top of the bag. I’m pretty happy with how they turned out. I hope our guests liked them.
