Hi Stampers! I’m back today with another color challenge from Pals Paper Arts. This week we challenge you to make any card using the colors: Chocolate Chip, Crushed Curry and Calypso Coral. I decided to use those colors to make some fun fall leaves.
This card starts with a Chocolate Chip card base (8.5″ x 5.5″, scored at 4.25″), followed by a 5.25″ x 4″ layer of Crushed Curry card stock. The center is a 4.75″ x 3.5″ layer of Very Vanilla card stock. I stamped the saying “hello fall” from the For All Things stamp set in Crushed Curry ink into the lower right side. I sponged all three colors to the edge of the Very Vanilla layer.
The leaves, from the Stampin’ Up! Vintage Leaves stamp set, in Chocolate Chip ink onto Very Vanilla card stock. I then sponged all three colors onto the leaves and then cut them out with the leaves framelit dies. I tied the two leaves together with gold cording and adhered them to the Very Vanilla layer and adhered that layer to the card with dimensionals.
All items used in the making of this card can be purchased in my online store. I hope you take the time this week to play along with us over at Pals Paper Arts!
