Hi Stampers. Today’s quick and easy card features the Flower Patch stamp set.  This set is photopolymer, which means the material is clear making it a great choice for 2-step stamping.  Two-step stamping is the technique I used on the flowers.  In this technique you stamp the bottom layer in a light color and a darker color on top (hence the two steps).  Because the stamps are clear, you can easily see through the stamp to know exactly where you are placing the image.  This is super helpful on the second step.

Thank You card made with Stampinn' Up! Flower Patch stamp set plus glitter and rhinestones

This card starts out with a Elegant Eggplant card base (8.5″ x 5.5″, scored at 4.25″).  I stamped on the 4″ x 5.25″ layer of Whisper White before placing it on the card base.  I did this for two reasons: 1) If I don’t like the stamping I can flip it over and start again. 2) I can let the stamps hang over the edge of the layer and make it look more natural.  The large pink flower is done with Pink Pirouette and Melon Mambo ink.  I then used the two way glue pen and dazzling diamond glitter to the center of the flower.  The purple flowers are done with Wisteria Wonder and Elegant Eggplant ink and a rhinestone in the center of the flower.  The leaves are done in Wild Wasabi ink and the small flowers are done in Daffodil Delight ink. This card could be completed with just about any sentiment.  Thank you… Happy Birthday… Happy Mother’s Day… Congratulations… Thanks for being my friend…  It’s just pretty!  It’s also easy to make!  Set up an assembly line and make a bunch while you have the materials out.  You won’t be sorry!

Happy Stamping,
