Hi Stampers. Fall is in the air.  Time for sweaters and cuddling while watching the leaves fall in beautiful colors… As I sit here typing this I am listening to the soft sounds of rain outside.  It’s a wonderful sound to listen to while cuddled up indoors.

Fun Fall card made from Stampin' Up! Vintage Leaves by Queen B Creations.

Today’s card starts with an Always Artichoke card base (8.5″ x 5.5″, scored at 4.25″).  The focal point of this card is an artsy pattern made with squares that have two opposite corners rounded and the other two left pointed.  The colored squares are 1.75″ x 1.75″ and are made in Cajun Craze, Soft Suede, Pumpkin Pie and Crushed Curry.  I cut four 1.5″ x 1.5″ squares of Whisper White card stock and stamped a different leaf (from the Stampin’ Up! Vintage Leaves stamp set) and in a different color (Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, Always Artichoke and Cajun Craze ink).  I used the Project Life Corner Punch to round two opposite corners on each square. They were then layered and adhered to the card base with snail adhesive, points in the center and the colors and leaves in a random pattern.  For the sentiment, I stamped “Just a Note” from the Stampin’ Up! Better Together Stamp set in Early Espresso ink onto a 4.25″ x .5″ strip of Crumb Cake card stock and then flagged the ends using the Banner Triple Punch.  I adhered that to the card with stampin’ dimensionals.

I just love how it came out… I gives me a warm fuzzy feeling.  I hope it does for you too.  All supplies used are listed below with links to my online store.  While you are there, be sure to take advantage of the sale we have going on for Designer Series Paper.  It’s a great time to stock up!
