Hi Stampers, I hope you have had a fabulous weekend. I spent a lot of time with the grandkids this weekend… So fun! I wanted to be sure and share this quick and easy Christmas card with you using the Cookie Cutter Christmas bundle.
This quick and easy card starts out with a standard card base (8.5″ x 5.5″, scored at 4.25″) made from Garden Green card stock. I used a 4.25″ x 2.5″ piece of designer series paper on the bottom of the card (from last years Trim the Tree paper stack) and a 4.25″ x .5″ strip of Cherry Cobbler card stock over that. Next I stamped three of the reindeer onto Whisper White card stock and punched them out with the cookie builder punch.
For the middle reindeer I inked him with the Memento Black (like the other two), but before stamping it, I rubbed the ink off the nose with the corner of a baby wipe and inked it red with the brush tip of a marker. I adhered the DSP, strip of Cherry cobbler and two black reindeer with snail adhesive. I adhered the middle reindeer (with the red nose) with stampin’ dimensionals.
For the inside of the card I used a 5.25″ x 4″ layer of Whisper White card stock. Before I adhered it to the card, I stamped the Santa in the lower right corner. I colored the Santa with Real Red, Delightful Dijon (for the gold belt buckle) and Basic Black markers. The sentiment was stamped in Garden Green ink and then the layer was adhered to the inside of the card with snail adhesive.
The Cookie Cutter Christmas bundle is super cute and includes an eskimo, teddy bear, gingerbread cookie along with several small coordinating stamps and several sentiments. There is a Cookie Cutter Halloween set that uses the same punch. The Halloween set has a scarecrow, mummy, vampire, skeleton along with several small coordinating stamps. Soooooo many options!!
I’ve listed all the supplies below with small graphics that show the supplies and links to my store for 24/7 shopping. I’d love to be YOUR demonstrator!
