Hi Stampers. Happy December! Can you believe it’s here already? Seems like the years go faster each year.
Today is one of those days that I LOVE being a demo with Stampin’ Up! – we have a new catalog and sale a bration coming up in January and as of today all demos (hobby demos and business demos) can order new product from those catalogs. This gives us a whole month to play with the stamps and design our samples ad prep for January classes using the new product. So fun!!
For today’s project, I’m using a lot of different products to show you how they can easily blend together to get even more awesome variety. Some of the items will be featured in the Stampin’ Up! Year End sale (see more info about the big sale below)
This card stars with a Cherry Cobbler card base (8.5″ x 5.5″, scored at 4.25″). I cut a piece of Crumb Cake card stock 5.25″ x 4″ and used the Woodlands embossing folder through the big shot to give the embossed trees as a background. I stamped the Christmas Moose onto Crumb Cake card stock with Early Espresso ink. I cut it out with a circle framelit and then cut an Early Espresso card stock circle out the next size up circle framelit. The “NOEL” across the bottom was cut from Cherry Cobbler card stock using a framelit from the Christmas Stocking framelit set. The boughs of greenery were cut from Always Artichoke card stock using the Pretty Pines framelit dies. The Cherry Cobbler and Whisper White hat was punched out of card stock using the Jolly Hat Builder Punch.
This side angle shows you where we used Stampin’ Dimensionals. I used snail to adere the back layer to the card base and then the fine tip glue pen to adhere the Noel and the Pine Boughs. The Crumb Cake circle with the moose is adhered to the Early Espresso circle with snail adhesive. That Early Espresso circle was adhered to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I also used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the red Santa Hat to the moose – the white trim and ball were attached to the hat with glue dots.
The inside of the card was stamped with “Happy Wonderful Christmas” from the Wonderful Wreath stamp set and Cherry Cobbler ink. I then lined a Very Vanilla medium envelope with some retired Christmas DSP that had trees on it.
