Hi Stampers. I’m sorry that I’ve been MIA lately. My Etsy shop has been busy and I recently got an order of 25 custom card in a boxes! They were pretty detailed and she made many changes, but they are now done and in the mail! Whew! I’ve missed sharing my cards with you all. Today I’m sharing a Valentines Day card that we made in my in person class this month. It uses the Stampin’ Up! Bloomin’ Heart thinlits and the Bloomin’ Love stamp set.

This card starts out with a Basic Gray card base, 8.5″ x 5.5″, scored at 4.25″. Next was a 5.25″ x 4″ layer of Basic Gray that I ran through the big shot with the polka dots textured embossing folder. I adhered that to the base with stampin’ dimensionals. I then used Pink Pirouette card stock and the Bloomin’ Heart thinlit in the big shot to get this beautiful detailed heart!

There are a few ways to adhere the heart to the card. You could use glue dots by carefully placing them behind the flowers. You can also adhere it by using monoadhesive glue or the fine tip glue pen by adding a small amount to each of the slightly larger pieces on the back side of the die cut. I next used the Bloomin’ Love stamp set and stamped the banner and the sentiment “love you” in Basic Gray ink. I then cut the banner out with paper snips and adhered it with glue dots.

For the interior of the card, I used a 5.25″ x 4″ piece of Whisper White card stock and stamped the sentiment “My Valentine” in Basic Gray ink and then added a few hearts in the corners using the heart stamp (from the Bloomin’ Love stamp set) with Real Red ink.
