Hi Stampers.

Welcome to the Remarkable InkBig Blog Hop for March 2017. This month our theme is “SaleABration”, there are so many amazing ideas and inspiration you don’t want to miss any of them.  Regardless if you started here or came from another blog, you want to check out all the fun ideas.  I have included the entire blog hop line up (featuring 23 Stampin’ good ideas!) in case you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects.

One of my favorite 2017 SaleABration items was recently added.  Have you seen the new 6″ x 6″ glimmer paper assortment pack?  (You can get your very own pack by ordering $50 in Stampin’ Up! product during SaleABration!) It’s a fabulous pack 12 with 4 of each fun of 3 spring colors – Mint Macron, Sweet Sugarplum & Bermuda Bay.

I recently had someone ask me to build them a “fairy card in a box” and she wanted LOTS OF GLITTER!  Well, one look at this new glimmer paper and I knew they would be perfect!

I used my basic card in a box card base design (found here) using Bermuda Bay card stock and Bermuda Bay glimmer paper and used Whisper White as my stamping layer of card stock.  The fairy dust is stamped in Bermuda Bay ink using the swirl from the Stampin’ Up! Star of Light stamp set.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Fairy Celebration stamp set.  I stamped onto Whisper White card stock and fussy cut them out using my paper snips.  This allowed me to clip off the cherries, which didn’t really fit with my design.  I then colored them with my Stampin’ Up! markers.  I cut out additional fairies and unicorn with my Silhouette Cameo using Stampin’ Up! glimmer paper (Dazzling Diamonds, Sweet Sugarplum, Mint Macron and Bermuda Bay).

For the side panels I used the Stampin ‘Up! Balloon Adventures and my computer/printer.  The customer asked for a specific saying on one panel and I didn’t have a stamp to match.  So, I created it on my computer using the RGB codes for Stampin’ Up! colors and printed it onto Whisper White card stock and cut it to size.
