Hi Stampers. Today’s card is one that we hope we wouldn’t need, but sometimes do and when you can make it handmade it just means that much more. A handmade sympathy card shows someone that you cared enough to make it yourself.
This card starts with a Wisteria Wonder card base, 8.5″ x 5.5″, scored at 4.25″. Next up is a 5.25″ x 4″ layer of Whisper White with Wisteria Wonder ink sponged on the edges. I stamped the flowers and the sentiment in Perfect Plum ink and colored in the flowers with a Wisteria Wonder and a Wild Wasabi Stampin’ Marker.
As accents, I added some basic pearl jewels to the circles on the flower stem. I used the bitty butterfly punch to punch a butterfly from dazzling diamonds glimmer paper and sponged it with Wisteria Wonder ink and adhered it to the card with mini glue dots. I lined a Whisper White envelope with some retired Wisteria Wonder Designer Series Paper to go with it.
I lined the inside of the card with a 5.25″ x 4″ layer of Whisper White card stock. I stamped part of the flowers from the front of the card in the upper left and lower right corner and stamped the interior sentiment with Wisteria Wonder ink. I am thankful to say I don’t have a need for this card right now, but if I do have a need for it I hope they know how much love went into making it.
